• FREE Cancer Screening-Beverly Hills Cancer Center is launching a wonderful community outreach program to educate and raise community awareness about screening for cancer.  As part of this program, the Beverly Hills Cancer Center is offering  free screening tests for Prostate and Colon cancer. 
   
  Testing will include:
   
  1)      Men:  PSA blood test for Prostate cancer
  2)      Men and Women:  Stool occult blood test for Colon cancer.
   
  Appointments for free testing will be held every Wednesday from 2-4 pm and on 2 different weekends, Saturday 4/3/10 and Saturday 6/5/10 from 10-2 pm.  Please call the appointment line at (310) 432-8902 to make an appointment.
   
  We would like to get the word out to educate as many people as possible about cancer screening.  Please give this information to friends, family, acquaintances and to any churches, groups or organizations that would like to help educate and raise cancer awareness. Please click on the link below for a flyer with more information:

• SPONSOR OF PACI FUNDRAISER FASHION SHOW - Beverly Hills Cancer Center is dedicated to cancer prevention and early cancer detection to save lives.  Beverly Hills Cancer Center sponsored the 3rd Annual Fundraiser Fashion Show in April 2009 for the Persian American Cancer Institute (PACI), an organization which "aims to reduce the impact of cancer today and eliminate the threat of cancer tomorrow."  Among the models in the show were several cancer survivors, including a 22 year old young man who was in need of a bone marrow transplant.  Please see some photos below from the successful fundraiser.
