MRI
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is used to see internal structures and function in the human body and all of its organs. MRI shows greater detail among soft tissues than computed tomography (CT) scans and has many advanced applications in musculoskeletal, neurological and oncological (cancer) imaging.
Our GE 1.5T MRI is one of the most technologically advanced magnetic resonance imaging machines available which provides high-resolution digital imaging of any body part, including shoulders, knees, brain and spine. At Beverly Hills Cancer Center, radiologists and radiation oncologists use MRI to detect, diagnose and image the most complex structures (e.g. the human brain) as well as tumors and cancers throughout the body.
Our MRI has been awarded accreditation after a comprehensive review performed by the American College of Radiology (ACR). This certification confirms that our center meets rigorous standards for practice in MRI.
